Blueberry Lemon Scones Super easy!
Description
Hi everyone! Today I will show you how easy it is to make Scones!
RECIPE
7 ⅛ dl (384 g) of Flour ¾ dl of Sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 ¾ dl (170 g) unsalted butter, chilled and cut into pieces 1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 ⅓ dl (245 g) of milk or half and half 2 ⅓ dl of fresh blueberries
1-Preheat the oven to 200 ºC. Position a rack in the middle of the oven.
5-cm a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the butter pieces and mix with an electric mixer until just blended, or mix with a fork so that the dough is somewhat crumbly.
3 Stir in the Lemon zest, Lemon juice, and milk, and gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to overmix.
4 With flour on your hands, transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Form the dough into a circle about 1 cm thick. With a long knife, cut the dough into 12 wedges (I ended up cutting the dough into 9 wedges)
5 Butter the Skillet (This recipe says to use a cast iron skillet but I used a baking sheet) and put the scone wedges in a circle in it, leaving some space between the pieces. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden.
6 If desired sprinkle with some additional sugar when just out of the oven.
